Training and Instruction
The Sand Mountain Shooter's Club is offering personal protection classes designed to teach safe and responsible handling and use of firearms, as well as carry and concealment, cleaning and storage.
These classes, in our opinion, are an absolute must if a person intends to own or carry firearms for protection purposes.
There are 4 consecutive classes.
Class Descriptions

1st class: Consists of gun psychology and gun laws. |

2nd class: Consists of gun safety and the terminology of guns |
|
3rd class: Consists of the mechanics of shooting, such as sight picture, stance, and proper hold. |
|
4th class: Consist of actual firing on the range. |
Class Material
Pen or pencil and note pad. We supply some printed material, but you will want to take notes.
All Classes are by appointment only!
You can choose one on one training in which the cost is $30.00 per person, per class, plus the cost of ammunition used, or if you have any family or friends that would like to take the class with you, you can have a group class (minimum of 5 persons, with a maximum of 10 please). The cost for group classes will be $20.00 per person, per class, plus the cost of ammunition used on the last class.
If you already own a gun you should bring it with you on the 2nd, and 4th class to help you learn the different features of your gun, and the safe & proper ways to handle it. However, if you do not already own a gun, please do not run out and purchase one. We will supply different types and caliber's of guns for you to use. Therefore, upon completion of your last class, you will be familiarized with, and able to determine which firearm best fits you.
