THE HISTORY OF PAINTBALL
| Paintball began in 1981 with 12 competitors playing capture the flag with air-powered pistols. Since then, the game has exploded into a multimillion-dollar sport with amateur and professional tournaments across the United States and in Europe, offering cash purses and prizes in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. | ||
| 1982 | The first outdoor playing field was opened in Rochester, N.Y. by Caleb Strong | |
| 1982 | Charles Gaines marketed paintball as the National Survival Game (NSG). | |
| 1983 | The first NSG National Championship was held with a $14,000 cash purse. | |
| 1992-1993 | NPPL (National Paintball League) was founded as a non-profit association dedicated to the education, growth and safety of the sport of paintball. | |

Paintball Requirements at Our Place

FIELD RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE 6 DAYS A WEEK, UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE HAS A RESERVATION FOR A PARTICULAR DAY. The entry fee is $10.00 per person plus tax for field use and CO2 or air. All supplies will be extra. Face Masks are REQUIRED. Protective clothing (long pants, long sleeve shirts, gloves) are encouraged. Rentals are available for any equipment needed. We offer a "Ready to Play Package". This includes: "Entry Fee", "Face Mask", "Semi-automatic Paintball Gun" "200 Paintballs" & "Co2". The cost for this package is $20.00 + tax per person. We will supply the Co2 for the day, but Extra paintballs must be purchased.

Groups of 10 or more need to call at least 2 days in advance to make arrangements. We do get booked solid sometimes, so the sooner you call to book your group the better. Let us know how much rental equipment you need and if you would like to order food. We don't do concession stand fast food. Please see our Mama Misitano's page for our menu. We also do paintball cakes, so if you're planning a party, ask about our fresh home-made cakes. ATTENTION LARGE GROUPS There are no discounts for big groups. If you bring 20 people to a restaurant they charge you an extra 15% or more. We take care of your group, make sure they have fun, and we clean up after you. A minimum of four players are required for field use.
A minimum of ten players are required for night time field use.
